Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about FORMAT, from your first class to your membership and beyond.

  • Our intro offer is $69 for 2 weeks of unlimited MAT classes plus 3 FORM (reformer Pilates) classes. It's the best way to experience everything FORMAT has to offer — no commitment required. Sign up here.

  • Grip socks are required for all reformer and are available for purchase at the studio. Wear form-fitting, breathable workout clothes. Bring water — we have filtered water stations on-site. Arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can get you set up and show you around.

  • Not at all. All of our class formats have beginner-friendly options and our instructors provide modifications throughout. If you're brand new to reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with FORM — it's specifically designed to introduce you to the FORMAT method at a comfortable pace.

  • All classes are booked through Momence — you can access here or download the app. Create a free account, search for available classes by day and format, and reserve your spot. We recommend booking in advance as popular classes fill up quickly.

  • FORMAT includes men's and women's locker rooms with showers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We also offer complimentary amenity towels, a coffee station, and retail products including skincare and grip socks. Our med spa and nutrition services are available by appointment.

  • FORMAT is located at 465 S. Main Street, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76104.

Getting here Enter the building from Tucker Street. Street parking is available along Tucker, or you can park in the lot directly across the street at 450 S. Main Street.

    2. Tap the Locks icon

    3. Tap to unlock the door and you're in

Getting Started:

  • We ask that you cancel at least 2 hours before your MAT class and 6 hours before your FORM class to avoid a fee. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a charge. We have this policy in place to keep class spots available for members on the waitlist — those spots matter to real people.

  • Yes, memberships can be frozen for approved reasons such as travel, injury, or medical circumstances. Freeze requests should be submitted in advance by emailing info@formatfortworth.com. The minimum freeze time required is 2 weeks, and members can freeze up to 3 times within one calendar year, for a maximum of 1 month per freeze.

Student members may freeze 1 time per semester, for up to 1 month.

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing info@formatfortworth.com or stop by the front desk at FORMAT and let our team know. Please note that ALL membership contracts require 30 days written notice and may include an early termination fee. Memberships are eligible to be canceled at the end of the membership term (3, 12 month and semester-based). Our team will confirm your cancellation and walk you through any remaining balance.

Policies:

  • FORMAT offers three distinct class experiences:

MAT classes are floor-based and include yoga, sculpt, and strength. These use bodyweight, light equipment, and mat-based movement, no reformer machine involved.

FORM classes are reformer Pilates, a spring-resistance machine that creates a uniquely challenging, low-impact full-body workout.

FORMAT classes are mat Pilates, also floor-based but distinct from the other MAT offerings.

FORM and FORMAT classes are only included in the FORM and FORMAT memberships. A MAT-only membership covers yoga, sculpt, and strength, but does not include reformer Pilates (FORM) or mat Pilates (FORMAT).

  • Yes. FORM reformer classes are heated to 75–80°F, warm enough to support mobility and open your muscles, but not extreme heat. This temperature range is intentional and supported by our approach to movement and recovery.

  • Yes. If a class is full, you can join the waitlist in Momence and you'll be notified automatically if a spot opens up. Spots can fill quickly during peak times, so be ready to confirm as soon as you hear.

One important note: if you are still on the waitlist the evening before your class, you may be automatically added when a spot opens. We recommend checking your waitlist status the night before, if you no longer plan to attend, please cancel your waitlist spot to avoid being auto-enrolled and charged a late cancel fee.
