Dysport is a prescription injectable that temporarily reduces activity in targeted facial muscles. As those muscles relax, the skin above them creases less, softening the appearance of expression lines such as the frown lines between your brows. Your injector will assess how your face moves and use that to guide placement and dosing. the aim is softened lines, not a frozen look.

Dysport and Botox are both prescription neuromodulators that temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity, but they’re different formulations with different dosing. Dysport often begins taking effect sooner. It also spreads slightly more, which can suit larger areas like the forehead.

There isn't one number that works for everyone. Dysport dosing depends on the treatment area, muscle strength, anatomy, and the result you're looking for. Dysport units also aren't interchangeable with Botox units, so you shouldn't compare the numbers directly. Your injector will determine your dosing during your appointment.
